Print’s Not Dead

Photography in print featuring yours truly.

As a printer in the darkroom and in the print room, I am over the moon to be featured in this December’s issue of Black & White. A magazine published in the US for connoisseurs and collectors of black and white fine-art photography.

Being a creative can lock you in a lonely world, your own head space filled with vibrant thoughts and emotions fuelled by the prospect of making work. Making something to be proud of that ultimately no one will see - sigh.

When someone does see you and reaches out into your world to connect, I am lifted with the reassurance all my efforts are not in vain.

Making prints is an integral part of my photography process, it is the ultimate act in my analogue workflow. I’ll never get bored of seeing my work in print.

Holding a magazine and turning the pages feels good and I’m happy to play a small part keeping print alive.

Purchase a copy and be a part of it too!
