What if we use a larger piece of paper? The whole image projected onto a sheet? Then expose our timed increments using both filter grades. Wouldn’t this save paper?

Making prints in the darkroom this time of year is an absolute treat — water at a constant 20° and the portable radiator no where to be seen!

When Kentmere 200 launched a few weeks ago I wanted to grab a few rolls and give it a whirl.

Natural light levels in the church were low so a couple of extra stops was a godsend (pun intended).

It’s not just the cost of film that’s rising. Photographic paper costs a pretty penny too. I know shooting expired or out of date film is popular—and fun if you like potentially unexpected results—but it’s not for me. So why would I print with expired paper?
