Round Two

A set of street portraits of Dawid sitting on a bench, smoking and nursing his swollen knuckles after a recent boxing match. After taking the shots I thanked him and walked off, thinking how good they will look.

Then I looked down at my camera and I realised I’d screwed up my exposures. I had underexposed by around 3-4 stops at least!

What now? Develop the roll and hope for the best? Maybe push developing a couple of stops? But how many?

Only one option, go back and reshoot - ding-ding, round two!

Below—I guess there’s certainly a grittiness to the underexposed shots.
